It is with heavy heart that we had to say goodbye-adios-sayonara-paalam to our dear Susan Ceniza at the end of the 2024. Retirement is calling her for the second time. While it is difficult to let her go, we have to give her a chance to enjoy this so-called retirement. She came out of her first retirement to serve as the Judith Ann Mogan Foundation’s first ever Grants Manager.
As the Grants Manager, she was key to the smooth operation of the Foundation. Susan’s attention to detail and her organizational skills are exceptional. Management relied on her historical knowledge and understanding of grantees and their needs. She is always on top of their goings on and can quickly pivot to solving IT issues and whatever else might pop up. Her gracious, accommodating nature, and welcoming demeanor have set the tone in the office. We will do our best to live up to the example she has set as she moves on to her next chapter in life.
Although Susan is off enjoying retirement, she did not leave us unprepared. She spent the last few months training Holly Chandler to take on the Grants Manager position. Holly spent a lot of time, under Susan’s guidance, getting to know the history, processes, grants, and organizations we have worked with, thereby creating a smooth transition. Holly is ready to assist you with any questions you have. Please email her at hchandler@jamoganfoundation.org or call 541-267-4113.
